This program includes 4 two-hour online tutorials with a practical one-day workshop. You can choose to attend the practical two-day workshop or provide us with video and photographic evidence. The two-day workshop is designed for you to demonstrate your experience in fabricating and installing furniture. Upon successful completion, you will achieve a Statement of Attainment in for the units of competency completed from the MSF30322 Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology qualification.

All you need is your laptop/tablet/computer, a quiet place, and speakers or headphones. Once you login to learn you'll be connected to educators and colleagues, as well as having access to our learning resources, videos and more!

To enrol in this course you must have the following entry requirements:

  • a minimum of one year’s full-time (or equivalent) kitchen, bathroom, and laundry renovation related experience in the construction industry (experience must be within the last 10 years)
  • a valid White Card (General Construction Induction card)
  • currently working on active related projects
  • Must provide details of two referees to confirm your work history/experience. Referees must be a qualified/licenced tradesperson in one of the above-mentioned trades and/or Cabinet Making and have worked with you for 12 months or more
  • able to answer at least 65% of the technical industry questions correctly during your application process.

This online pathway has been designed to meet part of the NSW Fair Trading criteria to apply for a Kitchen,  Bathroom and Laundry Renovation Contractor Licence. NSW Fair Trading has specific criteria in addition to this qualification. Visit the NSW Fair Trading website for further information

Enrolment Conditions

Master Builders has enrolment conditions to help you progress through your training:

  • Students cannot enrol in more than one online qualification and/or program at the same time.
  • Students cannot undertake more than two programs in total at a time.
  • This does not include our online Professional Development, CPD Made Easier, or short 1 or 2 day courses.

In just 6 months, you will learn the practical processes of coordinating renovation projects and how to achieve the best outcomes for your clients.

The dedicated Master Builders customer service team will assist you throughout the process to help keep you on track. Feel supported with communications and email notifications from our staff, as well as constructive feedback from your assessor. If you have any questions feel free to ask us.

We recommend committing 10-15 hours per week on the course to complete within the 6 months.
