FAQ

We have two study options that you can fit into your already busy schedule, or it might suit you to combine both:

VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS

Instead of rushing from work to class, you now have time to go home, settle in, grab a snack, then simply login to learn. Virtual classrooms are just like a real class except from the comfort of your own home. All you need is your laptop/tablet/computer, a quiet place, and speakers or headphones. Once you login to learn you feel connected to educators and colleagues, as well as having access to our learning resources, videos and more!

 RPL

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the process by which you can achieve a nationally recognised qualification, without the need to attend classes. You are assessed by providing us with evidence of the knowledge, skills and experience you have gained on the worksite. Best of all, you can provide demonstrations of your on-site practical tasks connecting by WhatsApp or FaceTime with one of our industry expert trainers.

Aaron Gray, Joiner from Macksville.

With future business prospects in sight, Aaron needed the skills to take the next step in his career. With current work and life commitments, the online Certificate IV in Building and Construction was the ideal choice.

“The support from the teachers has been incredible. The information is there if you stay focussed. I have learnt a lot and look forward to completing the course. It is not a worrying or stressful experience in any way.”

Mark Collins, Sales Manager from Port Macquarie.

In Mark’s current role, he needed more in-depth knowledge in areas such as Supervision, Contractor Agreements and Legal Responsibilities. As well as the added benefit of being on the pathway to a Building Licence, Mark was already familiar with online learning.

“So far, so good, I like being able to fit the study in between my working and family commitments and the portal is very easy to use. I am learning a lot which is a big reason for me doing this course. I would recommend it to a friend.”
