Work Safely at Heights
Learn how to safeguard yourself, your staff and your business from the risks associated with working at heights.
The First Aid course teaches recognition of a wide range of First Aid situations, providing treatment for injuries and illnesses, the use of First Aid equipment, and effective communication and incident management.
Within the course you will learn the DRSABCD action plan, what to do in an asthma emergency, how to use a defibrillator, how to identify and treat bites and stings, and how to recognise the signs and symptoms of a stroke.
This one-day classroom First Aid course is delivered onsite at the Master Builders Education Centre in Norwest. The First Aid course deals with the provision of essential First Aid in recognising and responding to an emergency in the workplace.
This course will satisfy the OHS & WHS Acts to become the 'nominated workplace First Aider'.
This course provides an outcome in First Aid. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for units deemed competent.
The Code of Practice recommends that refresher training in CPR should be carried out annually (12 months) and First Aid qualifications should be renewed every three (3) years.
Prior to attending the First Aid course, participants must complete an online pre-course learning module. The module consists of true/false and multiple-choice questions. Master Builders must receive a copy of the certificate at the time of enrolment.

This is a one full-day course running from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Exact time will be confirmed via email. Students are required to arrive at least 15 minutes before class commences.

Participants who successfully complete this course will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised units of competency:
These units are issued by Master Builders Association of NSW and the training is delivered by a third-party provider, ReVIVA, RTO 90176 under a partnership arrangement.
Participants are not required to bring any materials to class.
A pen and notepad for participants is recommended. Master Builders will provide all course materials, resources, and access to PEE (if required) on the training day.
