The NSW Government and Master Builders are committed to supporting the economic recovery of NSW from the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

Fees for this qualification pathway are as follows:

Note: On enrolment, you will be invoiced for $1,500.00. This consists of a non-refundable administration fee.

Student fees will increase if you are assessed as ‘not yet competent’ by Recognition of Prior Learning in any unit/s of competency and are required to undertake classroom or distance-based training and assessment. Fees may increase on a pro-rata basis per unit of competency to a maximum of $3,580.

The BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management qualification is designed to enable potential Construction Project Managers and Project Builders to manage all aspects of construction projects including leading teams, scope and changes, human resources, planning, stakeholders, and more!

Project Managers are in high demand and have career opportunities in:

• Residential building projects
• Commercial construction
• Fitouts, refurbishments and maintenance
• Infrastructure projects
• Property development projects
• Landmark Government projects
• Diverse and technical projects

Occupations may include:

The qualification has core units of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry. To become a Project Manager it is recommended that you have employability skills such as:

• Clear and strong communication
• Able to solve complex project issues
• Ability to multi-task
• Conflict resolution skills
• Planning and organising
• Analytical Skills
• Leadership
• Attention to detail
• Adopt new technology

Master Builders recommends the following entry requirements:

• You have a valid White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
• You are currently working on active construction projects
• Must be more than 18 months into your building and construction apprenticeship, trade qualified or have a strong understanding of the building and construction industry
• Computer with internet access for online delivery

Enrolment Conditions

Master Builders has enrolment conditions to help you progress through your training:

• Students cannot enrol in more than one online qualification and/or program at the same time.
• Students cannot undertake more than two programs in total at a time.
• This does not include our online Professional Development, CPD Made Easier, or short 1 or 2 day courses.

The program is designed to be able to be completed within 12 months, with a maximum time of 24 months.

We recommend committing 10-15 hours per week on the course to complete within the 12 months.
