Estimating and Quoting

This course is recommended for those working in trades, builders, administration, sales, financial roles or other building-related roles who want to ensure that estimating and planning for a project is nailed.

This course is scheduled into the sessions listed below:

Section 1: What is Estimating?
Section 2: Read and Interpret Drawings and Specifications
Section 3: Identify and Calculate Labour Costs
Section 4: Identify and Establish Physical Resource Requirements
Section 5: Develop Estimated Project Costs

Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Completion in Estimating and Quoting.

You will have access to the online course for a maximum of 3 months. After 3 months, your online access will expire and no refunds will be provided.

Instead of rushing from the worksite to a classroom, you have time to go home, settle in, grab a snack, then simply login to learn. Online learning is just like a real class except from the comfort of your own home.

All you need is your laptop/tablet/computer, a quiet place, and speakers or headphones, and microphone. Once you login to learn you'll be connected to educators and colleagues, as well as having access to our learning resources, videos and more!

To support your learning, recorded tutorial videos can be accessed at any time along with course notes. Students have the flexibility to watch these videos at any time, or multiple times and can start/stop when needed. This is beneficial for revisiting or reinforcing what you are learning.
