The Master Builders CPC10120 Certificate I in Construction Pressure Washing / Graffiti Removal / Brick Cleaning Work RPL program offers you the qualification pathway you need in meeting part of the Building Commission NSW criteria to apply for a Pressure Washing / Graffiti Removal / Brick Cleaning Work category from the Minor Maintenance and Cleaning licence.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the process by which you can achieve a nationally recognised qualification, without the need to attend classes. You are assessed by providing us with evidence of the knowledge, skills, and experience you already have. The assessment activities can be conducted at your workplace by following the RPL kit and providing photo and video evidence.

With our RPL program, you can complete the CPC10120 Certificate I in Construction within 6 months.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the process by which you can achieve a nationally recognised qualification, without the need to attend classes. Simply follow our RPL kit and provide video and photographic evidence of the knowledge, skills and experience you have. Plus, our industry expert assessors review your submission and provide feedback if we require more information or clarification.

The assessment practical activities are very specific and require you to have access to your workplace and a variety of job tasks. These tasks relate to the practical components of each unit of competency, and you must be able to have access to tools, equipment, and materials necessary to carry out the tasks.

To participate you will need a laptop or computer with internet access to login. With our RPL program, you can submit all the required assessment knowledge questions, practical activities, and evidence in our online student system.

Examples of the types of evidence that you will need to gather will depend on the qualification you are completing, however, examples could include:

  • Video footage of you performing tasks on site
  • Time-lapse photos of you performing tasks on site
  • Certificates you have already gained 
  • Project management documentation

This program has been designed to assist in meeting part of the Building Commission NSW criteria to apply for a Pressure Washing / Graffiti Removal / Brick Cleaning Work category from the minor maintenance and cleaning licence.

Master Builders applies the following entry requirements: 

  • Experience: minimum one (1) year's full-time equivalent in a construction-related role relevant to pressure washing/graffiti removal/brick cleaning work (must be within the last 5 years)
  • Employment: currently working on relevant construction projects
  • References: two (2) references from direct supervisors who are licenced/qualified to verify your employment for at least 12 months
  • Site Access: a valid White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
  • Entry Quiz: achieve at least 80% during your application process
  • Computer Literacy: basic computer skills and access to relevant technology
  • Resources: own tools, equipment and resources to be able to undertake RPL practical projects

This qualification pathway program has been designed by selecting units of competency that meet the Building Commission NSW requirements for the Minor Maintenance and Cleaning – Pressure washing / graffiti removal / brick cleaning work stream. Enrolment Conditions

Master Builders has enrolment conditions to help you progress through your training:

  • Students cannot enrol in more than one online qualification and/or program at the same time.
  • Students cannot undertake more than two programs in total at a time.
  • This does not include our online Professional Development, CPD Made Easier, or short 1 or 2 day courses.

This program must be completed within 6 months.

To achieve this, the knowledge-based assessment is required to be completed and submitted within 2 months and all evidence is to be submitted within 5 months.
