Achievements to Recognise: Celebrating Our Graduates

On his way to his building licence is recent graduate Mark Collins.

Celebrating with our graduates.

Did you know that our Education and Skills Development Customer Service team get to know our students throughout the duration of their studies? On a regular basis the team is speaking with students on the phone and by email correspondance. We also get to know our students when they attend our online tutorials.

We know how much completing a qualification means to the lives and the careers of our students. It’s a big step to take, and a significant accomplishment when completed. Our online qualifications help people in many ways by providing:

  • accessible learning at a time and place that suits the student;
  • pathways to trade and building licences;
  • new skills as well as refreshing and updating knowledge;
  • pathways to further education;
  • career opportunities and career progression;
  • confidence in the workplace with quality work outcomes.

We are proud to have recently launched our quarterly “Share your Success” competition to celebrate the achievements of our graduating students. In this competition, Master Builders Education and Skills Development recognises the efforts and hard work of students completing their qualifications by giving them the chance to share their celebratory moments in the form of photos or videos.

Graduating online students from all over NSW are given the chance to enter our new competition when completing any of the following courses:

  • CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
  • BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management
  • CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)
  • BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Kitchen, Bathrooms, and Laundry Renovation
  • CPC31420 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing
  • All Certificate III trade qualifications on offer

Entrants in the competition will go into a quarterly draw to win a $200 Bunnings voucher. The winner is independently selected by a panel of judges. In the first round of this competition, we have received a range of quality entries. Of course, there can only be one winner per quarter.

Congratulations to Mark Collins from Port Macquarie, who is our first “Share Your Success” winner! Mark earned his online CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) with Master Builders Education and Skills through his hard work and dedication.

“For me this was all about learning the end to end construction process. Based in Port Macquarie online learning suited me perfectly. Stoked to complete it,” says Mark. This is what student success sounds like and it commands recognition. We congratulate Mark on completing his qualification and winning the $200 Bunnings voucher.

We can see what earning a qualification means to our students, with these examples of other entrants in this competition:

“This means the absolute world! I can finally start up my business and begin accomplishing goals in my career! It’s a new beginning/life.” – Steven King, Sanctuary Point, completed via RPL the CPC30318 Certificate III in Concreting.

“Enjoying a cup of builder’s tea upon receiving my certificate for my course. Looking forward to enrolling in another course at MBA Training soon.” – Brook Ayrton, Leichhardt, completed the Kitchen Bathroom and Laundry Renovation Workshop.
